Song Notes

With my life going on a downward spiral, pregnant with our sixth child, and with four other children to look after, I awoke early one morning deeply afraid of what my future would hold. I felt a great weight of fear and responsibility. At my baptism, nearly eight years ago, the scripture verse given to me was Isaiah 41:10. I was reminded of that first, then the music came to me – so very peaceful – then the words of truth. I jumped out of bed to quickly make a written record of this new song. It has become a favourite for me when I am faced with the storms of life.

The truths in this song minister to my heart that Jesus will indeed strengthen me every single day and uphold me and my family. It has become a living reality that I want to shout from the rooftops in thankfulness of my heavenly Father’s care towards His children. Praise God
