Notes
Do
you
ever
wish
that
you
had
a
dramatic
story
to
tell
about
your
own
conversion?
I
used
to
think
that
way.
Before
I
became
a
Christian
I
thought
I
was
generally
“a
good
girl”.
I
had
not
rebelled
at
school,
I
had
not
been
in
trouble
with
the
police
and
I
had
been
brought
up
in a
loving
family
–
not
the
makings
of a
dramatic
conversion
story
at
all
-
certainly
not
a
potential
bestseller.
But
as a
student
I
was
blessed
with
some
very
good
Christian
friends
who
showed
me
the
way
–
showed
me
Jesus
–
and
I
was
brought
to
the
place
where
I
knew
that
I
had
to
make
a
decision:
was
I
going
to
carry
on
being
“in
charge”
of
my
life
and
probably
make
a
mess
of
it,
or
was
I
going
to
follow
my
Lord?
I
thank
God
that
I
chose
the
latter,
and
I
have
never
regretted
my
decision
for
one
moment.
I
was
thinking
about
my
own
story
one
morning,
and
I
began
to
realise
how
amazing
it
was.
I
had
not
known
that
I
needed
Jesus,
but
He
knew.
I
had
not
set
out
to
look
for
Him,
but
He
looked
for
me
and
drew
me
to
Himself.
I
was
lost
but
did
not
know
it,
and
He
rescued
me.
He
chose
to
love
me
before
I
knew
He
existed.
That
is
an
amazing
story,
and
one
that
can
be
applied
to
all
who
come
to
know
the
unconditional
love
of
God.
That
is
where
this
song
began
–
the
unconditional
love
of
God.
But
there
is
more
to
being
a
Christian
than
knowing
God
loves
you
–
and
so
we
have
the
rest
of
the
song,
describing
the
need
for
us
to
turn
away
from
our
old
life
and
accept
Jesus
as
Lord
and
Saviour,
so
that
we
can
receive
the
promised
“treasure”
of
eternal
life.
We
have
all
been
on
“death
row”,
and
all
who
have
been
saved
by
Jesus
have
an
amazing
story
to
tell!
"What
man
among
you,
if
he
has
a
hundred
sheep
and
has
lost
one
of
them,
does
not
leave
the
ninety-nine
in
the
open
pasture
and
go
after
the
one
which
is
lost
until
he
finds
it?”
Luke
15:4
NASB
“He
brought
me
forth
also
into
a
broad
place;
He
rescued
me,
because
He
delighted
in
me.”

18:19 NASB
